Calla Lily Pavilion Table,WIP

Description

This is what's known as a Pavilion Table. It's the first thing you see when entering the client's house. It goes against the wall of the entry hallway and will get a glass top. It's almost finished. Just a few minor details to clear up. Some patina spots need redoing, otherwise it's finished.
Client's happy.
Bronze leaves and flower stalk.
Polished stainless steel flower heads.
The flower parts are all threaded and screw together (including the poished bronze pistils),so this thing can be disassembled . It's the only way I could gain access for grinding and polishing to all the various parts after welding. And by the way, this is welding stainless steel directly to silicon bronze. Each bronze leaf has a reinforcing rod of stainless to help secure it to the stalk.
Also there's another reason,a chance the client might want to change the composition from time to time(a good chance). She's already got a collection of interesting rocks to go between the flower stalks...

I noticed in you discussion that you mentioned that it tarnished very fast. Do you use a microcrystaline wax? I use Renaissance Wax, a little goes a very, very long way. I found it by recommendation of a friend who used it in museums on all sorts of metals, woods, and leathers even. I have found that I can even keep a polish on copper with it, and copper is a whore for oxygen, LOL.

Anyways, you may already use a wax. I just thought i would throw that idea out there for ya :)
