I've wanted to make this pattern for a wine rack for some time.
Two identical plates would be laser cut from stainless steel plate,and bolts with spacers would hold the two plates together at 4.5 inches apart.The holes for the bottles are 3.75 inches in diameter.
I was trying to come up with a more organic design or at least soften the typical linearity of close packing pattern cutting.
I envision the back plate reversed to give more variety to the aesthetic.
