Description
I recently had cause to visit a client with railings I made a couple of years ago. The builder insisted since the rails are on the lagoon in Belvedere that they be hot dipped(galvanized) first before being painted on-site after install. This was NOT what I would have designated had they taken my advice. First, I would have made the railings REMOVABLE and designated POWDERCOATING as the preferred treatment. With this protocol the railings could be repainted every 7-10 years(off-site),and the finish is a bit brighter with a smoother texture.
Oh well, next time I'll insist upon it...

so much structure in you photo! all very angular but the sandy stairs show wavy shadow lines. nice composition.
as to what you write about coating and painting - no clue
