This is the final look of the tentacle towel hook as mounted. Each one is drilled and countersunk to accept a 5/16" hangar bolt. The 3" lag screw end goes into a stud through the little porthole shaped hardware. The tentacle is in solid forged stainless steel. The porthole piece is in machined stainless. There is obviously a fair amount of handwork welding and forging. This is reflected in the listed price at $100 each.
Loooove it! Tentacles are freakin sweet (my fiancé's engagement ring is a pair of tentacles holding a stone, so obviously I like 'em). You make the coolest art! Also, if you're still making these when I get a job, I might commission you.
It looks even better on the wall. I don't think 100 dollars is a big chunk of money for the effort you put in to that. If i rebuild my bathroom i will think of you, cause this is an epic piece!
