The clients ,(two architects) wanted a beautiful gate that you could see through but would keep the air dale in and let the cat come and go as she pleases...
It is fabricated of silicon bronze and stainless steel. The flowering heads were laser-cut in stainless, then forged to give a variety to the movement. All the leaves are in silicon bronze ,even the handle of the latch. Over time the verdigris does it's magic and makes those leaves look even more "real".
