Human Vertebra L3 Prototype

I've been commissioned by a wonderful spine doctor in L.A. to make a large conference table featuring the human spine beneath thick glass.This image shows the prototype of one of the larger vertebra in the lumbar region(L3). This was done sort of as a proof of concept...That it could be done by forging....Only 24 more to go.
Forged mild steel.
The scale is 2x life size.
The spine will be almost 7' long when finished.
